Practice and Meet Information
The Summer Core Swim Team is a member of the Lower Bucks Swim League. We practice at Poquessing Middle School in Feasterville, PA from the end of May through July. Our meets begin at the end of June and run through July, at Poquessing Middle School and local swim clubs.
2026 Practice Schedule
May 26-June 12 - Monday-Friday
*Depending on skill level the coaches may be flexible with practice groups.
- 4:00pm-5:30pm Ages 11-18
- 5:30-6:30pm- Ages 5-10
June 15-Approximately End of July- Monday-Friday
- 7:00-8:00 am Ages 5-10
- 8:00-9:30 am Ages 11-18
The coaches request that all swimmers have a pair of fins for practice- We recommend the fins from the link below.
Coaches
Coach AJ McClurkin
- This will be his 5th year as Head Coach of Summer Core
- Master's Degree in Exercise Science: Applied Sports Performance
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Coaching
- Assistant Swim Coach at West Chester University of Pennsylvania
- Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach at West Chester University of Pennsylvania
- Special Olympic Swim Coach with the Chester County Rammies
- Helped lead his College team to win 4 Conference championships and has since contributed to another championship as a coach.
- Swam competitively for 16 years
- A member of the first Summer Core Team
- Broke Neshaminy High School's long-standing 42-year-old 100y Breaststroke record. Along with 2 relay records, with 1 still standing
Coach Maggie Wiley
- This will be her 5th year coaching Summer Core
- She was one of the winter core coaches this year
- Bachelors degree in Forensic Science and minor Chemistry
- Alumni & previous Captain of the Neshaminy High School Swim Team
- She coached competitive cheer for United Dream Elite and for the Penn State Club Cheer: White Team
- She was apart of the relay that broke the Neshaminy High School 200 freestyle relay record in 2020
Coach Connor McClurkin
- 3rd year as Summer Core Assistant Coach
- Currently completing his Bachelor's Degree at Bloomsburg University in Biology
- Member of Bloomsburg University Men's Swim Team
- Alumni and previous captain of the Neshaminy High School Swim Team
- Neshaminy High School Swim Team Record Holder- 100 Breaststroke and 200 IM
- Member of the first Summer Core Swim Team
Coach Julia Daley
- 3rd year as Summer Core Assistant Coach
- Currently completing Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at Penn State Altoona
- Member of Penn State Altoona Woman's Swim Team
- Alumni and previous captain of Neshaminy High School Swim Team
- Member of the first Summer Core Swim Team
